How old? I'm fairly sure that old releases are being kept available

You might find your package in there. I suspect other mirrors have a
similar structure...

Well, you *could* rebuild the package from source, but you might run
into build-time dependencies that cannot be fulfilled - especially if
you take a later (debianized) version of the package...
